Rapeh (pronounced “ha-peh”)is a sacred shamanic medicine or tool, that has been used by tribes of the Amazon basin for thousands of years and is an essential part of their tribal culture and history.
It’s powerful, cleansing snuff used for deep healing, purifying and centering qualities.
The Hapeh is a powdered mixture made from finely ground Mapacho tobacco and ingredients or ash from various medicinal plants and it´s blown into the noise through a bamboo tube (Tepi). It cleans physically & energetically, it heals, opens the heart, centres the mind, clears the consciousness and cleans the pineal gland.
The spirit of the participant will be centered and clarified.
The body will be purified of unhealthy and blocking energies.
The heart chakra will be opened so that love and self-love can come into the flow and your heart can find healing in itself.
The spirit of the Hapeh is conducted during the ceremony by prayers and Icaros – (healing songs)
It paves the way for detoxifying the body and cleans out all excess mucus, toxins, and bacteria, thereby, assisting in fighting colds and snuffles. Moreover, Hapeh stimulates the mind and in turn releases epinephrine, acetylcholine, and dopamine, supporting an increased focus, presence, and intuition.
